Mind
The thoughts and the love that always live in my heart.

Fuckin' Focus
Focusing alone is not enough. Close off your own escape routes and execute toward the goal. Pour all your heat into one thing.
Synergy
We, objects and the universe are all collections of atoms. What one atom cannot do, many joined together can: new functions are born. Synergy is not just 1 + 1 = 2; it holds the potential to create 1 + 1 = ∞.
Impossible = I'm possible
The highest goal of my life is to build a society where everyone can speak of great ambitions and take the first step. At my high school graduation, I spoke about my dream and was met with praise and cheers. I was glad, but deeper down I felt something was wrong. "Why am I praised just for having a dream and saying it out loud, something anyone should be able to do?" It was a kind of anger. For humanity to advance, each of us needs to bring out our full power and keep creating the new, and that very process is what makes a life rich and happy. I want to change a society where people give up on a future no one can know, and never reach their potential. What that needs is a role model who embodies the impossible becoming possible, across a whole life. Because I was born and raised in the countryside of Kanoya, Kagoshima, I believe there is meaning in my taking that role. Then I remembered the words of my high school principal: "Impossible = I'm possible" Even what seems Impossible gains a new meaning when you add an apostrophe and a space and see it differently. With my life, I will prove that with ingenuity, I'm possible can come true.
Space
Where it began
Near my hometown of Kanoya are the Tanegashima Space Center and the Uchinoura Space Center, and I would often watch the sky to see rockets off when they launched. In the countryside there were very few streetlights, and the stars were beautiful at night, so in my early primary school years I spent my evenings on the balcony with my father, gazing at the stars with an app that named the constellations. That childhood is where my romance with space began.
Looking back on high school
For three years of high school I captained the football team, gave the reply speech at graduation for the student council, and danced to BTS's "DNA" at the school festival. It was, truly, smooth sailing. But looking back before starting university, I concluded that I had been happy but not excited: however smooth it was, it had all stayed within what I expected. From then on, over the long run of my life, I wanted more than steady happiness: to touch things that are unexpected and turbulent and that exceed my own expectations. That is what drew me to space (and to starting a company).
What the Nordic program made me realize
On a dispatch program to the Nordics in mid-November 2025, I talked with students at Aalto University. They made me realize: face what you want to devote your life to, starting this very moment. Back in Japan, sitting before the sea at Minatomirai with a notebook and pen, I thought about my life so far, my life ahead, and what I would give my life in exchange for. I arrived at a question: if there were a rocket that could fly you one way to the edge of the universe tomorrow, would you board it or not? Of course, YES. When I put the question to my friends, they said no. That was when I realized: the core of my own truth, one others don't share, is space, and on that I can bet my life. Living each day with that truth in mind since, I've found I am full of energy every waking hour, and I'm sure this way of living suits me.
The ultimate curiosity, and giving back
Written under Future.
Starting up
Where it began
In my second year of junior high, something led me to the conclusion that I have to carve out my own life. The two books I was reading then, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and Drucker's Management, shaped it deeply.
Why it fits
Through high school I came to seek the unexpected and turbulent over steady happiness, and being an entrepreneur seems to suit that. It also fits one of my philosophies, Impossible = I'm possible: the entrepreneur's mindset of believing in what the world calls impossible, what doesn't exist yet, and pushing toward it. And I have a strong intellectual curiosity to know the truth (which ties to what I write under Future).
Environment
I have long put myself in harsh environments, often starting at the very bottom and climbing my way up to the top. Environment is a big variable in how a startup turns out. As they say, you are the average of your three closest friends: change your environment, and how you think and where you aim change too. That is also why I chose to take on the challenge in Silicon Valley, the home of startups. A new place, new people, new things.
Future
Unravel the Big Bang, and give back
I am very happy now. From all kinds of experiences I receive all kinds of feelings. I feel this free and this happy. Why am I able to receive this happiness? My parents, who gave birth to me. My grandparents, who gave birth to them. My great-grandparents. My ancestors. … Tracing back like this, where I ultimately arrive is the moment the universe was born, about 13.8 billion years ago. The Big Bang. From general relativity comes the hypothesis that it was the moment time and space began. Thanks to it, I, we, can receive this much happiness now. Yet humanity still leaves so much unexplained about the event that has given us so much. To unravel it, exploring space is essential. With my life, I will test the hypotheses around the idea of the Big Bang and bring the truth to light. And I want to give back.
